Since their first performance in 2006, BLASPHEMOUS RUMOURS has rapidly amassed a huge following throughout the Southwest and has toured the US, playing large scale venues, corporate and private engagements and festival headlining dates. They were the headline entertainment for the International Depeche Mode Convention in June of 2007. June 2008 saw them headlining the Save New Wave Festival at Gibson Amphitheatre. Their Fall 2008 calendar has them touring internationally.
Further enhancing the illusion of a real Depeche Mode concert are their impressive lighting and multimedia visuals; which elevate their stage presentation far above the typical tribute fare. | Andy Singer (a classically trained baritone) deftly channels DM frontman David Gahan's vocals as well as his look, dance moves, dynamic persona and charismatic energy.
A self taught pianist, David Sepe is a synth tweaking, sound designing tech-head. His love of synthesizers and soundscapes is evidenced in his authentic portrayal of Alan Wilder.
Brent Ryan, with his eerie resemblance to Martin Gore is also a classically trained vocalist as well as a record producer, multi-instrumentalist and symphonic composer. |
